How to Get Involved

Become a Sponsor

  • Locate and recruit eligible sites
  • Hire, train and supervise staff and volunteers
  • Arrange for meals to be prepared or delivered

Visit the USDA website to get more information about becoming a Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) sponsor.

Host a Site

  • Distribute meals according to the SFSP guidelines
  • Supervise activities and meal service
  • Manage volunteers

Local Agencies

Local non-profit organizations serve as the official sponsors of the Summer Food Service Program. These organizations work tirelessly to improve the health and well-being of our local communities year-round, including providing nutritious meals for kids during the summer.
